Oliver bang trim

Oliver's bangs were getting out of control, so he had a trim.  Here's the before (sorry for my ugliness in the background)

And after.  He did very well, it only took two seconds

Oliver 1 year pictures

We were so luck to have Amanda Tonagel take pictures of Oliver for his first birthday.  Her work is amazing!

LOVE this one, well, ok, all of them :)

What a goofy boy.

He wasn't sure if he wanted to eat that cake!
He finally did and made a big mess :)

I am finally blogging about Oliver's Birthday.  He had a very nice birthday.  He had lots of fun and lots to eat.

Some of the raucous partygoers :)
I just had to post this picture of Brooksie peeking out, too cute!
Very good day :)

Tea Party at Grandma's

Went to my Grandma's for a nice tea party that they were offering.  We had little goodies and some yummy tea.

This is what was waiting for us when we got back.

I3 at Paige's Crossing

So I am really far behind on blogging.  This was back in June?  Our small group went to Paige's Crossing for an evening of fun times.
Kennedy posed so nicely for me on the golf course.

Forrest multi-tasking:  wearing Oliver while golfing.

Steph Sigerfoos and Kennedy are in the front seat and Karissa and I are in the back.

Karissa hated the roller coaster.  She vows never to ride one again.

Ballet recital

Karissa and her ballet class had a recital last Monday.  They performed to the song "Lullaby" by Celine Dion.

 Everyone did great!
I am working on getting the video on here.

Quiet Corner Tea and Coffee House

I had the pleasure recently to visit this beautiful little restaurant with some friends.  It is in the middle of nowhere over by Cherubusco, set back in the woods.  It is the coolest place!  So secluded and peaceful.  It is run by a husband and wife that used to work as missionaries.  They have the best chai and hot chocolate.  They do serve a few kinds of sandwiches, and they have a nice dessert menu.  The sandwiches are served on fresh homemade bread that is just great.  The desserts are different every day.

Here is our table, the sandwiches come with soup, too.  So good!

Here is the teapot that the chai came in.  Isn't it precious!

My dessert!

I can't wait to go back, this place is so neat!
